There’s never a bad time to visit our Pigeon Forge show! The Comedy Barn is a top attraction to visit all year long. We’re open on select dates in January and February before returning to our normal schedule in March! Deciding when you want to visit depends on what you hope to experience while you’re in town. To help you make that decision, we’ve created a guide to the best times to visit our Pigeon Forge show:
Beginning of the Year
What better way to kick off a brand new year than with a visit to the most award-winning clean comedy theater? Starting your year with endless laughter at The Comedy Barn sets the tone for what you hope the rest of the year will bring. We’re also one of the few shows still open in January and February! While Pigeon Forge doesn’t technically have an “off-season,” this time of year tends to see fewer crowds and less traffic than other months. If you’re hoping for a more peaceful vacation, this is the perfect time to visit! We still recommend getting your tickets online ahead of time to guarantee you get to see our show on the date you want.
Summer Vacation
There’s nothing quite like spending summer in the Smokies! When you’re searching for the perfect place for your summer vacation, look no further than Pigeon Forge. This is a great time of year to visit The Comedy Barn! When summer is in full swing, so is our show. Our talented cast of comedians, jugglers, ventriloquists, singers, and dancers are all ready to keep you laughing all evening long! We’re also close to other popular summer attractions, like Dollywood’s Splash Country, Dollywood, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Family Trip
We have one of the best shows in Pigeon Forge for families! Kids, parents, and even grandparents have a wonderful time at our theater. When we created The Comedy Barn, we wanted to introduce something new to the area and ensure that the humor in our show was appropriate so that all ages can enjoy it. That’s why we use only clean comedy throughout the performance, but it’s not too cheesy that adults won’t love it too! We also have a portion of the show just for kids, during which a few lucky audience members get pulled on stage to help us test out some exciting kid toys you can find in our gift shop. Everyone in the family will have a blast laughing the evening away with one another, and you’ll be able to create memories you can share for years to come.
Couples Retreat
Just because we’re family friendly doesn’t mean that only families enjoy our show — The Comedy Barn is a great date night spot too! When you’re in town with your sweetheart, this is one of the best times to visit our Pigeon Forge show. Sharing a night of a thousand laughs with one another will only bring you closer together. Plus, you can get a photo taken together inside our theater to cherish forever!
Holiday Getaway
When you’re ready to get into the holiday spirit, plan a visit to The Comedy Barn! Our Christmas show is the perfect way to spend an evening of your holiday getaway. You’ll hear nothing but Christmas music, see nothing but Christmas costumes, and laugh at special Christmas acts you can only see at our Pigeon Forge show. Don’t worry — we still bring the laughter with our holiday performance! Our Christmas show is the funniest in the Smokies.

Like we said, there’s no bad time to visit The Comedy Barn, but the best time is when you need a laugh. Laughter can make any day better, and you’ll be full of it when you visit our comedy variety show. We like to say that you’re guaranteed at least one laugh every minute during our show. Each one of our performers, from our comedians to our jugglers, specialize in making you laugh. The side-splitting comedy at our show is unmatched!
